Give your PDF a contents page

Free. No account. Your file is deleted as soon as it is used.

Most published tafrigh is a wall of pages with no way in: no contents, no bookmarks, nothing to tell you which page a chapter starts on. This reads the headings out of a finished PDF and puts a real contents page in front of it, with matching bookmarks in the sidebar.

The headings are a guess, and you correct them before anything is built. Your original file is never altered.

What this does not do

It reads the text layer. A PDF that is a scan of a printed page has no text layer and nothing to find — you would need the pages read first, which is a different job.

What happens to your file

It is held only while you are working on it, and deleted as soon as you have taken the result — and in any case within thirty minutes. It is never opened by a person, never used for anything else, and no account is created.

If a series of lessons is a folder of separate files, the joiner binds them into one volume with a contents page.

Who made this

LessonScriber turns a recording of a lesson into a typeset, print-ready book — the verses checked against the mushaf, the matn kept apart from the sharh, every paragraph traceable to the second it was said. This tool is a piece of that, given away because it costs us nothing to run.
